Fresh from Godspell and it’s accompanying poster, I’ve been working on a design for Billie Aken-Tyers’ theatrical fundraiser, the purpose of which is to help send her off to the American Academy of Dramatic Art in New York.
You can catch Billie, myself, and a score of other talented locals at the Consett Empire on May 7th.

And we’re back in the Consett Empire, this time with Spotlight North East, and a rather fab production of Godspell. It’s on till Saturday, 2nd April, so if you haven’t already been along, buy your tickets and Prepare Ye-self for an evening of profound-yet-irreverent parables, joyous-yet-rather-tearjerking-towards-the-end songs, and a bit where there is much wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Backstage at the CBS Musical and Stage Society’s production of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”. I shook the dust off my camera, and spent most of the week sticking it in people’s faces. There are plenty more photos on my brand-spanking new Flickr page, should you wish to see them.
Anyway, the show was rather splendid. Why weren’t you there?

Taken from Work-in-progress designs for The Winter-Hill Transmission’s debut EP. The EP is on hold at the moment, so I thought I’d share with you some of the designs that are currently homeless.

Bridie Jackson’s business cards just arrived in the post, and they do look rather nice. Rush along to her gigs and pick them up to decorate wallets, or tiny picture frames.

Not too long ago, I created the artwork for Nathalie Stern’s debut solo album “Firetales”. It is now available for purchase from purveyors of fine music across Newcastle. I also believe you can obtain it directly from Ms. Stern herself, over at her Myspace page.
You can have a look at the final cover design over on this page here, or you can enjoy a rough & sketchy work-in-progress design right here:-
